Switching from another review app

The plan

Switch in this order

1. 01

   Export from your current app

Download a full CSV export of reviews, including photos if the app offers them.

2. 02

   Import into Sofcy Reviews

Choose the source app in Settings › Import reviews, or map columns in the wizard, and check the import log.

3. 03

Add Sofcy blocks to a draft theme

Duplicate your theme, add the Sofcy blocks there and compare product pages before publishing.

4. 04

   Remove the old blocks

Remove the previous app's blocks and embeds so shoppers do not see two widgets, and so there is only one source of review structured data.

5. 05

   Move requests last

Turn off the old app's request emails before turning on Sofcy's, so customers are not asked twice.
