How to reward reviews with coupons

Steps

Set it up

1. 01

   Open Coupons

   In Settings › Coupons, turn on Reward eligible reviews.

2. 02

   Choose the discount

   Pick a percentage or fixed amount, the value and the number of days the code stays valid.

3. 03

   Choose the review types

   Decide whether text-only, photo and video reviews each earn a reward.

4. 04

   Mention it in the request

   Edit the request email to say that reviewers receive a discount code.

5. 05

   Test it

   Submit a test review, publish it and check that the coupon email arrives and the code works at checkout.

What an honest reward looks like

• The same reward whatever the rating.
• Disclosure: shoppers should be able to tell that reviewers were offered something.
• If you submit reviews to Google, read Google's product ratings policies before offering rewards.
