What it does
Ratings at a glance
- The Star rating badge shows five stars or a single star with the average and the review count, and can link down to the review widget.
- It can also show the number of questions, and can be hidden on products that have no reviews yet.
- The Review count badge and Verified reviews badge give a compact trust message for product or landing pages.
- The All reviews counter shows the store-wide average and review count, for example on an about or reviews page.
Placement
Where badges work best
- Put the Star rating badge directly under the product title so it is visible before the shopper scrolls.
- Turn on the link to the widget so a tap on the stars takes shoppers to the reviews.
- Decide whether new products should show empty stars or nothing at all. Hiding empty badges avoids a row of zeros on a new catalogue.
